Transferring files can be a complicated process, since you have to plug in a device to a Mac computer or laptop and then wait several minutes for your data to move over. However, a company called PhotoFast has a new accessory coming soon that will make the process run much smoother.
It’s called the i-FlashDrive, and it’s currently slated to ship sometime in early July. Sold in three different sizes (8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB), it works with all iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch models. Using an accompanying electronic app now available in the App Store, this peripheral enables you to transfer data quickly and efficiently between devices – without the need for a computer. It’s ideal for people that are on the go and not near their beloved Mac.
Here’s how it works: Using the app, you select which files are to be transferred, with the i-FlashDrive plugged into the USB port. Once this process is complete (which only takes a few seconds), simply plug it into another device, open the app, select the files and shift them over.
The cost varies depending on the size of the i-FlashDrive. The 8 GB goes for roughly $90; the 16 GB sells for $108 and the 32 GB costs about $173. To learn more, head over to PhotoFast’s website.
