Keeping an address book on the iPad or iPad 2 can be handy for when you want to contact colleagues, friends or relatives without thumbing through a Rolodex. The best way to access this feature is through the Contacts app, located in the iPad.
Let’s cover the basics for adding new people first. Open up the Contacts app. A notebook-like page will open up. Locate a plus symbol (+) at the bottom, near the center of the page. Tap on that and fill in the fields with the information, including the contact's name and any other vital information. Once filled out, this contact will automatically be added. To add more, simply repeat the process, hitting “+” and providing the information.
Should you need to remove a contact, that’s also quite simple. Re-open the Contacts application and find the person that you wish to remove. From there, locate an option marked “Edit”. Once selected, several alterations can be made, but the one to look out for is “Delete Contact,” which is located near the bottom. Tap on that, confirm, and boom. Consider that contact gone.
And that’s really all there is to it. Contacts is a trouble-free application to use on the iPad.
