Keep on rocking on your iPad .
The latest from the taste-makers over at EA Mobile has added vocals to the list of new features available on Rock Band Reloaded available for download from the App Store for $4.99. The previous version was more akin to performing elevator music—no lyrics available.
Now the team at EA has stepped up its game providing the same features as the last Rock Band game for Apple iOS devices -- drums, guitar and bass – with the added twist of vocals that allows players belt out tracks using the iPad microphone for that true stadium concert effect.
The popular music game has 27 songs available, 15 of which come preloaded, and the remaining 12 tracks can be purchased on the Rock Band Store. Some songs -- sold in packs of two -- are available for free, while others cost 99 cents.
Rock Band Reloaded and Rock Band Reloaded HD include songs from Beastie Boys, Evanescence, Nine Inch Nails and Vampire Weekend among others, and spans six rock music genres.
According to EA Mobile the game plays similarly to console versions of Rock Band with players tapping out the colored notes scrolling vertically down an extended guitar neck.
Other features include a Quick Play mode, multiplayer options with up to three band mates and a split screen for the iPad so two players can battle each other on the same device.
