Apple has cut down the wait time for its popular iPad from more than a week to 24 hours.
Apple’s online store now indicates that all six versions of Apple's iPad ship in just 24 hours. In recent weeks, the iPad took about seven to ten days for the product to ship.
The company initially had difficulties keeping up with consumer demand after a large number of preorder and initial sales were placed. In fact, Apple sold over a million units just 28 days after its debut.
However, after its release, the iPad stock ran dry and the company delayed the 3G and international versions of the device by a month.
As of late July, Apple has sold more than 3.27 million tablets since its debut in April.
