New iPad Drawing App Is Pressure Sensitive

For artists, the inability of the iPad to sense differences in pressure prevents the device from truly simulating the experience of sketching . Artists learn to use different angles and pressures to produce just the right line thickness while drawing, and now, a new app from Ten One Design enables iPad scribblers to do just that.

As displayed in the video above, the app ignores any input from a human touch, ensuring that the side of the hand won’t smudge the drawing. Ten One Design plans to release the app for free, but there’s no indication of when it might hit the app store .
