Start saving those quarters, kids. Flynn is back.
Last week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, the Tron franchise made its presence known all over the floor. Disney Interactive set up a huge display for its forthcoming multi-platform game "Tron: Evolution" (set for release later this year) and Performance Designed Products (PDP for short) also showcased a new line of glowing Tron-licensed controllers, which stood front and center in a glass display case. However, perhaps the coolest thing of all sat in a corner of PDP's booth, one that all fans of the original films -- and those seeking out a quality iPad holder -- should definitely check out. Behold...
PDP's Tron iPad case is a state-of-the-art marvel that features a sleek black plastic shell and neon purple lines to emulate the same style of design as most glowing Tron outfits. It holds your iPad with ease, so it won't shake around loosely in the case and get damaged. Furthermore, it pops open and close very neatly, not causing any damage to your iPad screen upon doing so. It's practical while, and the same time, a great looking accessory.
Look for it to release around December, the same time that Disney will be releasing the new Tron Legacy film. No price has been set yet, but both the controllers and iPad case will be in very limited quantities. Order while you can.
